Felice Frankel has a rockin’ job. She gets paid money to take breathtaking pictures of scientific things. The New York Times thought she was cool enough to feature her here.
Her MIT site might be a little in your face, but you get the picture (haha…get it): the natural world is amazing. Amazingly beautiful, I would add.
Some eye candy for you here:
A yeast colony.
A water drop on a hydrophobic surface.
Iron-rich fluids acting under the force of magnets.
Nothing that I’ve read about her mentions whether she believes these phenomena are cosmic accidents or carefully designed creations, but it’s a stimulating reminder to me of our God, who I do believe is the excessively inventive Creator of all of these things.
